Vivian M. Alma, 96, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at her daughter and son-in-law's home with Jan and Gregg by her side.
She was born on Monday, Dec. 4, 1922, at her parents home near Guelph, Dickey County, North Dakota, to the late Harry Lee and Eliza Myrtle (Young) Maddock. On April 12, 1942, at the Burnettsville Baptist Church Parsonage in Burnettsville she married John W. Alma; he passed away on Dec. 24, 1994.
Survivors are her daughter, Janice M. "Jan" (Gregg) Hoover of Monticello; two sons, James D. "Jim" Alma of Kalispell, Montana, and Richard L. "Dick" (Sandee) Alma of Monticello (formerly of Burnettsville); and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., April 14, 2019, at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of Life Service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m., April 15, 2019.
Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery in rural Burnettsville.
