Timothy A. Moore, 59, Kokomo, passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born August 29, 1958, in Ft. Wayne, to Gene and Ruth (Clingenpeel) Moore.

Tim graduated from Lewis Cass High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He worked at Chrysler for 20 years and had also driven a school bus for Lewis Cass and a truck for Syndicate Sales. He enjoyed woodworking, biking, computers and cooking and was a huge dog lover. He was an active attendee at Onward Christian Church and was a member of UAW Local 685 and past president of the North Meadows Homeowners Association.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Moore, Kokomo; sister, Linda Moore, Indianapolis; uncles, Bill (Virginia) Moore and Bill (Diane) Clingenpeel; aunts, Frances Nelson, Doris Price and Betty Ferguson; a host of cousins and many good friends; and his dog, Lilly.

He was preceded in death by his father; uncles, Dave Price, Ben Clingenpeel, Cyril Whiteman and James Earl Ferguson; and aunt, Frances Whiteman.

Funeral services for Tim will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Rod Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Galveston Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team.
