Tammie Heiny Obituary

Tammie Sue Heiny, 52, Royal Center, passed away at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born Feb. 24, 1963, in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of William Wallen and Anna Faye Wireman.

On Feb. 24, 1990, she married Scott A. Heiny; he survives.

She had formerly worked at Pulaski Healthcare Center in Winamac and at Indiana Beach, and she was a former manager at Casey's Gas Station in Logansport.

Tammie attended Revolution Community Church in Logansport. She enjoyed collecting frog memorabilia and most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Heiny of Royal Center; her children, Jodie Muckenfuss (John) of Logansport, Amanda Brooks of Royal Center, Sheena Heiny (companion Todd Stover) of Lake Cicott, Shelby Heiny of Royal Center, Tanya Owens (John) of Winamac and Cougar Heiny of Royal Center; parents, Anna FayeTolson and husband James of North Judson and William Wallen and wife Wanda of Knox; brother, Steve Wallen of North Judson; sisters, Kimmie Delasontos of Winamac and Amber Wallen of Knox; and grandchildren, Derek Napier, Isiah Hardy, Madison Hardy, Kwintin Heiny, Apple Muckenfuss, Ivan Muckenfuss and Addilee Stover, Cameron Stover and Cayden Stover. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and cousins.

She was preceded in death by brother, Billy Wallen, and son-in-law, Joe Robison.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel, with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America and/or the American Cancer Society.
