I live in Baton Rouge and met Steve via the Friends Who Like Mike VI page he created on Facebook. His selfless love and devotion to Roscoe (Mike VI) and the priceless gift of allowing us to love him here at LSU touched our hearts deeply. Our broken hearts were healed as Steve told us about his life with him. We thought of him as family. I just want to share that Steve was loved by many people here in Baton Rouge. I will be continually praying for you.

Although I never met him in person, I grew to love Steve via Facebook because of his love for Roscoe/MikeVI, the LSU Tiger Mascot. All of the LSU fans fell in love with Steve when he would come to visit MikeVI. I just wanted his family to know how much we all love and respect him, and thank you for sharing him with us for a short time. Prayers for this loss.
