Lawrenceburg, Indiana - Sally (Sarah Ann) Hendryx (VanLandingham), 76, formerly of Logansport, Indiana, died Jan. 17, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

She was born Sept. 2, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late William and Audrey (Sexson) VanLandingham. She married Don Hendryx on June 14, 1969, in Frankfort, who preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2024.

Sally grew up in Frankfort, Indiana and was a 1968 graduate of Frankfort High School, moving to Logansport in 1971. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children and shared an especially close bond with her sister Mary, who was also her best friend. The two cherished spending time together, particularly antiquing — creating countless memories side by side. Sally gave of herself fully, always placing the needs of others before her own and supporting them with unwavering love, strength and encouragement. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and guidance, and she will be missed deeply by her three children, as well as by the rest of her family, who will forever carry her love, wisdom and memory in their hearts.

Survived by daughter: Cathy Hendryx (Mike Rigdon) of Westfield; sons: Christopher Matthew Hendryx (April McGinnis) of Whitestown, David (Amelia) Hendryx of Naperville, Illinois; brother: William E. VanLandingham (Marcia) of Geist Lake, Indiana; sister: Mary Fesmire (Steve) of Cicero, Indiana; grandchildren: Zachary Hendryx of Naperville, Illinois, Lyla Hendryx of Naperville, Illinois, and Ethan Rigdon of Westfield.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother Christopher Wayne VanLandingham.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
