Logansport, IN - Robert Eugene Nethercutt, 78, Logansport, passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.
Born July 7, 1947, in Logansport, he was the son of Ralph and Mabel (Hardy)Nethercutt.
Bob was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed going to car shows and festivals, and watching old Westerns.
He is survived by his children: Darlene (Brian) Rumell and Randy Nethercutt; grandchildren: Dayton Rumell, Fallon Henderson, Wyatt Rumell, Trenton Nethercutt, Trevor Nethercutt, Cory Eller, Kendra Lightall; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Truman Nethercutt, Tom Nethercutt and Evelyn Downs; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn; daughter, Gidget Swafford; siblings: Ralph Nethercutt Jr., Carol Heaton Harold Osborn, Darolyn Osborn, George Osborn and Josephine Baker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in the Logansport First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow from 4 - 6 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.
Private burial will be in Davis Cemetery at a later date.
