Randy J. Braden, 50, of Peru, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Logansport on Sept. 26, 1969 to Steve and Janet (Kunkle) Braden of Peru. A 1988 graduate of Maconaquah High School, Randy was a welder and a farmer. He also studied briefly at Purdue University.
He is survived by his parents, as well as his son, Nick Braden of Indianapolis; brother, Kent (Angie) Braden of Peru and sister, Sherri Braden of Buckeye, Arizona; aunts, Donna Percy and Rita Lyzen; uncle Roger Kunkle; nieces, Stacia (Jake) Working, Morgan Braden and Alyson Braden; and several cousins. Also surviving are former wives, Macey Miller of Indianapolis and Nancy Sanders of Peru.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., Peru. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Miami County 4-H through the funeral home.
