Phyllis A. Wray, 95, Eloy, Arizona, formerly of Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her residence.

Born on Nov. 21, 1929, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ora W. (Pat) and Gertrude (Hopkins) Grable. Phyllis graduated from Twelve Mile High School in 1948, and attended a South Bend business school. On Oct. 16, 1949, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, Phyllis married W. Clifford Wray, and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2002.

Phyllis worked briefly at Grable's Chevrolet before becoming a homemaker, as well as a partner in Grable's Chevrolet until it closed in 1981.

A member of Corinth Brethren Church in Twelve Mile, Phyllis will be remembered for her faith, her dedication to various duties and activities with the church and WMS and the Twelve Mile chapter of Eastern Star. Phyllis was an avid quilter, making many quilts and blankets for her family, and donating many to various charities.

Survivors include her five children: Brenda Badanish Eloy, Arizona, Sue Albin, Eloy, Arizona, John (Barb) Wray, Eloy, Arizona, Mark (Becky) Wray, Lakeville, Indiana, and Jason Wray, Lafayette, Indiana; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Grable, Denver, Colorado.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jordan Wray; and step granddaughter, Desiree Badanish.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Corinth Brethren Church, Twelve Mile, with Pastor Cole Westwood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.

In lieu of flowers, Phyllis requested that donations be made to the Twelve Mile Community Building.
