Patricia Lou "Pat" Smith, 91, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
She was born June 11, 1930, in Logansport, to John L. and Cleo Della (Gifford) Hawk.
On Sept. 14, 1952, she married David Earl Smith at the Center United Methodist Church in Young America, and he survives.
Pat graduated from Logansport High School in 1948. She worked as a secretary at Delco/GM for 22 years before retiring on Jan. 1, 1987, and had also worked for Savings & Loan in Logansport.
In addition to her husband, survivors include niece, Shawn D. Blackowiak; and nephews, L. Erick Hawk, Daniel A. Neal and David L. Mulkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma J. Mulkey; and brother, John T. Hawk.
No public services will be held. Burial will take place at a later date in Center UMC Cemetery in Young America.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pat's memory to the Kokomo Rescue Mission or the American Heart Association.
