Patricia A. Burbage Robbins, 88, formerly of Delphi, died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at The Springs of Lafayette.

She was born Jan. 13, 1929, in White County, to the late Roy and Fern Shoop Burbage. Her marriage was to Robert W. "Bob" Robbins in Delphi on June 15, 1948, and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2009.

She graduated from the former Rockfield High School in 1947. She was a homemaker and helped her husband and son on their family farm. She also worked for the Carroll County Assessor's Office for many years, and was a former Deer Creek Township trustee.

She was a member of the Frist Presbyterian Church in Delphi. She was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority, and a home ec club in Rockfield. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing, traveling, and wintered in Sarasota, Florida, for many years. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed sewing, and playing euchre card games. She dearly loved her family.

Surviving are daughters Barbara (Greg) Small of Lafayette and Janet (David) Scherr of Folsom, California; son James (Jill) Robbins of Delphi; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Annabelle; and a brother, Robert.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 4, at Abbott Funeral Home Inc., Delphi, immediately followed by a graveside service at Rockfield Cemetery with Pastor Tim Stewart officiating.

Pat and her children lovingly helped her husband Bob endure his affliction with Alzheimer's, and she would want memorial contributions given to the association in memory of her husband, and honoring all those survivors who have dealt with its effects.
