Michael E. "Mic" Cox, 67, Rochester, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at his residence.
On Aug. 21, 1950, Mic was born in Logansport. He was the treasured son of Edwin and Dorothy Coffman Cox.
Mic was a 1968 graduate of Logansport High School. In the First Baptist Church of Rochester, Mic married the love of his life, Janet E. Hildebrand, on Nov. 27, 1976.
Left to cherish Mic's memory are his wife, Janet; his mother, Dorothy, of Logansport; two daughters, Cathy (John) Cummins of North Manchester and Andi (Jason) Price of Rochester; a son, Alan Schwarte of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; and two sisters, Barb (Kenneth) Miller of Rochester, Karen (Mike) Stevens of Lucerne.
A celebration of the life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at the Faith Outreach Center, 1125 E. Ninth St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester, and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
