Mildred "Milly" Sherman, 86, of Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at Angel Bright Hospice Center, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Born on May 3, 1938, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Larus and Mildred (Davidson) O'Brien.
On Sept. 29, 1957, she married James H. Sherman, he survives.
Milly was a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. She formerly worked at Logansport Memorial Hospital, and also in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Milly and James enjoyed their lives together over the years serving their Lord and Savior.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Sherman of Logansport, sons, James A. Sherman (Nandra) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Thomas M. Sherman (Stacey) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb, Jonathon, Joshua and Rachel.
She was also preceded in death by son, Kenneth J. Sherman; brothers, Larus O'Brien Jr. Carl O'Brien, Thomas O'Brien and Robert O'Brien; and sisters, Mary O'Brien, Virginia Hettinger and Betty O'Brien.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Private graveside services will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park on Monday.
