Michele A. Corbett, 70, of West Terre Haute, formerly of Kewanna, passed away at 4:25 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at Providence Healthcare Center, West Terre Haute.

Born on Aug. 30, 1948 in South Bend, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Lou (Moody) Corbett.

Michele was a Kewanna High School graduate. She was a Registered Nurse and she formerly worked at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Woodlawn Hospital and Logansport Memorial Hospital. Michele was also a former longtime EMT for the Kewanna Volunteer Fire Department.

Michele enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's school and sporting events. She also formerly attended Kewanna Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Troy (Shannon) Corbett of West Terre Haute; brothers, Danny Corbett of Terre Haute and Greg (Sharon) Corbett of Alaska; sister, Nancy (Don) Wanner of Texas and 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Blaine and Bryce Corbett. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Carlson.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Kewanna Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at the funeral home where Nursing Honors will be performed. Burial will be at Moon Cemetery.
