Michael "Mike" L. Grable, 67, Logansport, Indiana, passed away at 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at Vernon Health and Rehabilitation, Wabash, Indiana.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1955, in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Leonard L. and Betty Jean (Metz) Grable. He graduated from Caston High School, Fulton, Indiana.
Mike was the owner and operator of Grable Burial Vault, Logansport, Indiana, for over thirty years. He had also operated a Taekwondo Academy in Logansport. He attended Metea Baptist Church, and was an avid sports fan, especially following the Indianapolis Colts, where he had been longtime season ticket holder.
Survivors include his children, Sarah K. Grable, Indianapolis, Indiana, Brady Grable, Logansport, Indiana; father, Leonard (Alberta) Grable, Star City, Indiana; sister, Bonnie Morrow, Marion, Indiana; nephew, Adam (Patty) Morrow, Logansport, Indiana; one great-niece; and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, and one hour prior to service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Metea Baptist Cemetery, Cass County, Indiana.
