Michael James Martin Obituary

Twelve Mile, Indiana - Michael J. Martin, 74 , of Twelve Mile, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 26, 2025.

Mike was born Sept. 2, 1950, to the late Norma Martin.

Survivors include a brother, Tony Martin; cousins, Sue (Frank) Hodge, Kamm (Jintana) Schreiner, Kevin (Cartriona) Schreiner, Tina Cowles, Tim (Sara) Cowell and Noreen (Dave) Brumett. Also surviving are special friends, Dan and Kayla Cook.

Mike's life was full of generosity, service and farming. Mike was devoted to those around him, especially his beloved mother, whom he cared for throughout her life. He loved to farm, and those who were blessed to know him would often hear his memories of how things used to be done. He spent many years overseeing Dale Hardy Supplies. He had a heart for Christ and was deeply involved in numerous faith-based organizations, dedicating himself to projects he believed would spread the Good News and be a blessing to others.

Private graveside services were held with Pastor Adam Speicher officiating. Mike was laid to rest next to his mother at Metea Baptist Cemetery.

If friends and family choose to donate in memory of Mike, please make memorial contributions to Emmaus Mission Center or any ministry in which God leads you to contribute.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be sent online at www.mcclainfh.com.
