Lincoln, Nebraska - Michael "Mike" L. DuSchene, 73, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away July 6, 2026.
Mike was born March 2, 1953, to Edward J. and Anna May (Ingle) DuSchene of Logansport, Indiana.
He built a long career with Nash Finch.
Mike served with the SW Rural Fire Department for 25 years, from August 1976 to March 2002. When he retired as a volunteer firefighter, he was honored with a golden plated axe in recognition of his dedicated service.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister Catherine "Cat"; brother Edward "Bud", Jr; and sister Mary.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane DuSchene, son Andrew (Danielle S) DuSchene, daughter Danielle (Eric) DuSchene, brother Bernard (Patricia) DuSchene and six grandchildren.
