Merna M. Daily, 91, of Kewanna, passed away peacefully at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born on June 12, 1933, in Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mildred (Johnson) Willoughby.

On Sept. 3, 1959, she married Darl C. Daily. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2012.

Merna was a lifelong homemaker and farmwife.

She was a member of Star City United Methodist Church. Merna enjoyed playing Euchre and Bunco, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Daily O'Connor (Ed) of Needham, Alan Daily (Darlene) and Robert Daily (Kim); grandchildren, April O'Connor, Bevin O'Connor, Tim O'Connor (Lynn), Shane Haselby, Brandon Haselby (Andrea), Brock Haselby (Lindsay), Shaw Haselby (Missy), Natalie Tucker (Jeremy), Sarah Cody (Ben), Jess Daily (Jaclyn), Tasha Mitchell (Jeff), Payton Daily (Lauren), Maggie Hancock (Gus) and Dalton Daily (Bailey); great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Gary) Haselby; and sisters, Carol Boatman and Jane McIntire.

Services will be at noon Friday, March 21, 2025, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Winamac Chapel.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the funeral home, and also 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.

Burial will be at Star City West Cemetery.
