Marilyn J. Hoff, 80, of Kewanna passed away unexpectedly at 8:35 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 at her residence.

Born on May 14, 1938 in Peru, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Clara (McCreary) Mannies.

She was a 1956 Grass Creek High School graduate. On Aug. 4, 1956, she married Richard L. Hoff. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2016.

Marilyn was a homemaker and farmwife. She, with her husband, owned and operated RMAR Lawn Care Service since 1986 and also formerly managed Kewanna Village Apartments. She enjoyed reading, baking and cooking. Marilyn was known as the "Cookie Lady" at the Kewanna Library.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Herrell (Michael) of Kewanna and Rhonda Hoff (Dennis Fornal) of Rochester; grandchildren, William R. Lockhart II, Justin B. Lockhart, Brittany Herrell, Aaron Herrell, Michael Crozier and "adopted grandchild" Megan Forester; and great-grandchildren, Legacy L. Lockhart, Selena Lockhart, Liam L. Lockhart and Nashton Herrell. She is also survived by brothers-in-law Rodney L. Hoff (Linda) of Fletchers Lake and Kenneth Hoff of Rochester and sister-in-law Elaine K. Brown (Jerry) of Lucerne. She was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Renee Lynette Hoff and sister Carol Sue Williams.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
