Lois L. Smith, 101, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

She was born on June 15, 1922, in Rockfield, Indiana, to the late John Herman and Marie Fidler (Coble) Quinn.

Lois married Max L. Mills in April of 1942. He was missing in action in WWII on the submarine USS Wahoo. She then married Glenn F. Smith on May 11, 1946, who preceded her in death in June of 1995.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Mike) Schroeder of Reynolds; and two sisters-in-law, Mara Smith and Carol Smith; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
