Logansport, IN - Lillian Parkevich, 70, of Logansport, passed away peacefully at 4:22 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport, after a long illness.
Lillian was born in Logansport on Nov. 14, 1955, to Maria Gorovski and Tommy Parkevich, who have preceded her in death. Lillian attended Logansport High School. She enjoyed many years at Camelot Care Center, caring for the many children. Lillian was best characterized as a free spirit, fighter, warrior with a great will to live, especially through the many years of health challenges.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music, watching Westerns and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her partner of 26 years, Ronny Putnam; five children, Debra Upton, Brenda Edwards (Russell), Daniel Dilts, Chris Dilts and Robin Witzel (Richard); eight grandchildren, Jared Bridge (Consuelo), Katie Mercer (Collin), Austin Bridge, Zane Henry, Ethan Dilts, Brianna Rangel, Cambreigh Dilts and Jacob Rangel; five great-grandchildren, Manny, Roland, Judah, Florence and Senna; six siblings, Alex Parkevich (Gayle), Mike Parkevich (Cindy), Patty Parkevich, Tom Parkevich (Michelle), Sherry Debarge (Mark), Athena Moss. Lillian is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be noon Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Lillian's online guestbook is available and condolences can be shared with the family at www.ransfuneralhomes.com.
