Joetta K. Woolever, 61, Kokomo, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 18, 1957, in Cass County, to Robert and Olive Viola (Birnell) Smith. On Dec. 29, 1973, she married Daniel A. Woolever, and he survives.
Joetta worked various jobs earlier in life and then stayed home to raise her children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother; son, Daniel (Hollie) Woolever; daughters, Bridget Williamson and Kaylee Woolever; grandchildren, Ayron Woolever, Dominick Woolever, Jakob Williamson, Blake Williamson and Drake Williamson; brother, Rob Smith; and sisters, Pat (Larry) Cunningham and Brenda (Curtis) Schnieb.
She was preceded in death by her father; son-in-law, Hank Williamson; and one brother, Andy Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Neptune Chapel, 44 Michigan St., Burlington, with Pastor John Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
