Logansport, Indiana - Jerry W. Roller, 82, of Logansport, passed away on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1939, in Camden, to the late Harold Woodrow and Ruth (McVay) Roller.
On May 24, 1959, at the Lake Cicott United Methodist Church, in Lake Cicott, he married Karen Million, she survives.
Jerry had lived in the rural Logansport area most all his life and was a 1957 graduate of Burnettsville High School of Burnettsville.
He was an avid international tractor collector.
Jerry had worked at the former Louisville Cement (now known as Leigh Cement) for numerous years, retiring after 30 years of employment.
He loved and enjoyed restoring tractors, farming, camping and was an avid reader, reading a book a day.
Jerry was a member of the Burnettsville First Baptist Church of Burnettsville and the El-Tip-Wa Tractor Club of Walton.
He enjoyed telling his stories.
His family was most important to Jerry, and he loved them all.
Surviving are wife, Karen Roller, of Logansport; three children, Jerry (wife, Darlene) Roller Jr., Pam (husband, Mike) Winings and Jeff (wife, Chris) Roller, all of Logansport; two grandchildren, Justin (wife, Chelsy) Roller, of Burnettsville, and Shelby Roller, of Logansport; three great-grandchildren, Graysen, Brantly and Mindy Roller; three siblings, Ellen Ironmonger, of Logansport, Richard "Dick" Roller and James "Jim" (wife, Jean) Roller, both of Royal Center; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Woodrow and Ruth (McVay) Roller; and granddaughter, Angela "Angie" Roller.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello. Celebration of life service will be at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, with the Rev. Paul Scott of the Burnettsville First Baptist Church of Burnettsville officiating.
Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery of rural Burnettsville (Cass County).
Memorials may be given to the family, and they will be given to the El-Tip-Wa Tractor Club of Walton. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. U.S. 24, Monticello, IN 47960.
