Jerry "Adam Bug" Scott, 40, of Logansport, passed away peacefully at 9:41 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on Aug. 21, 1979 in Demorest, Georgia, he was the son of Jerry Lamar and Norma (Sturgill) Scott.
Adam was a 2001 graduate of West Jefferson High School in Lafayette. He was a member of the Baptist Church Action Club and he also participated each year in the Special Olympics. Adam enjoyed sports, music, Hotwheel cars, coloring, hunting and anything to do with the Army. He also enjoyed collecting hats and shoes.

Survivors include his mother, Norma Horton of Logansport; father, Jerry Scott (Donnabelle Willis) of Camden; brothers Carl L. (Tina) Scott of Cutler and Jeffery L. Scott of Logansport; sisters Roni (Robbie) Smith of Star City and Wendy (Bob) Roland of Idaville; grandmother, Bernice Scott of Camden; step-father, David (Robin) Horton of Louisiana; and step-grandmother, Joan Horton of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by brother, Jeremy Scott; and grandparents, George and Juanita Reed, Boyce Scott and Ivylee Horton; and his beloved dog, Zoey.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel in Logansport. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville.
