Elizabeth Jean Krohn Obituary
Elizabeth Jean "Libby" Krohn, 86, of Kewanna, Indiana, passed away at 4:47 a.m. at her home on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1935, in Peru, Indiana, to the late William Louis and Ruth (Mills) Kurz.
Libby married William C. "Bill" Krohn on Aug. 15, 1973, at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
Bill died on Oct. 4, 2019.
Libby was a graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing at St. Frances College and St. Joseph College. She was a registered nurse at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, where she retired as a surgical supervisor.
Libby lived in this area for nearly 50 years. Libby enjoyed sewing. She loved to cook for her family. She also enjoyed flowers and eating fish. Libby enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and to local casinos.
Libby will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include son, Mark (Connie) Ingram, Winamac, Indiana; daughter, Diana L. (Walt) Lowry Hanselman, Plymouth, Indiana; son, Kirk Ingram, Winamac, Indiana; son, James K. Ingram, Kewanna, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Richard (Martha) Kurz, Lake Bruce, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, Indiana, with John Locke officiating.
Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lake Bruce, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. EDT Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, Indiana.
