Edward E. "Ed" Hallam Obituary

Logansport, Indiana - Edward (Ed) Eugene Hallam, 59, of Logansport, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor.

Born Dec. 14, 1965, in Logansport, he was the son of the late William (Butch) Hallam and Alyce L. (Fellers) Hallam, who survives.

Ed worked at many fast-food restaurants, and was also a meat cutter. Ed enjoyed the Indy 500 races, and loved going to the lake in Monticello.

He loved to take his "best gal" and her cats to Colorado, where her home was in the mountains. Ed loved that time. He drove there and took a plane home after a week. Ed referred to his "best gal" as Aunt Jenelda.

Sandy and Ed had a beautiful girl that died at birth on June 30, 1989. Her name was Cassandra. Ed was also preceded in death by an aunt, Jane Viney.

In addition to his mother, Ed is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Khristine Hallam; uncle, Michael Fellers; aunts, Noreen Morgan and Carol Hallam; cousin, Cathleen Hallam; and many additional cousins.

A Service of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral & Cremation, with Fr. Kyle Neterer officiating.

Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery will be at a later date.
