Logansport, IN - Edna Marie Landis, 92 of rural Logansport passed away at 11:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at her home.

She was born Aug. 26, 1932, in Delphi, to the late Richard William and Ada May Stark Hancock. She was a graduate of Delphi High School class of 1950.

She had worked many years at Carroll Manor, where she cooked and assisted in caring for the residents. She was a member of the Lockport Church. Edna loved her husband, Ronald Landis, who preceded her in death July 4, 2018. They enjoyed sharing fishing and long drives through the country.

Edna dearly loved her family and long-time friends. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her sons, Don (Mary) Smith of Rockfield, Doug (Jill) Smith of Raton, New Mexico; daughter, Carolyn McIninch of Monticello, Indiana; and stepson, Rodney Landis of rural Logansport; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosie (Ervin) Mast of LaGrange, Indiana; sister-in-law, Marla Stark of Delphi; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by stepfather, Riley Stark; a sister, Betty Shelton and husband John; a half-brother, Riley Stark Jr.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Cree Funeral Home, Camden, is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
