Edmond Irelan (Ed) Obituary

Burlington, Vermont - Edmond (Ed) Irelan passed away Jan. 4, 2025, in Burlington, Vermont.

He was born on Jan. 31, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated LHS in 1968, where he excelled as a member of the Berries baseball and football teams. Although he lived in many states, he always thought of Logansport as home.

His wife of 49 years Cynthia (Cid) Irelan, preceded him in death on April 5, 2021. They met in Great Falls, Montana, where Ed was stationed in the Air Force, and were married in July 1972.

They are survived by daughters, Peggy Irelan of Chandler, Arizona, and Dr. Wendy Irelan Conway; as well as grandchildren, Julia Conway, James Conway IV and Calvin Conway, all of Burlington, Vermont.

They were "Uncle" Ed and "Aunt" Cid to their adopted Logansport family, the Hershbergers.

Please join us for a casual Celebration of Life on Saturday, Aug. 2, between hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Elks Lodge #66 in Logansport, 1100 N. Third St.
