Logansport, IN - Donald Lee Tomlinson, 93, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Parkview Logansport.

Born May 30, 1932, in Cass County, he was the son of the late Henry and Thelma (Cotner) Tomlinson.

He married the love of his life, Margaret Loretta Rowe and together they built a wonderful life. She preceded him in death.

A 1950 graduate of Logansport High School, he served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Don retired from Logan Machine where he had worked as a machinist.

He was a devoted member of the Yorktown Church of Christ and lived his life caring for others. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Don rode the Cass Transit bus every day and was loved for his cheerful, friendly nature. He was a giver - always having food, hats, and gloves for those in need.

Throughout his life, he endured profound losses - his wife, their children, Judy Ann and Gregory Tomlinson and both grandsons, Shawn and Nicholas Tomlinson- yet he continued to praise God even in the hardest moments. Those trials only deepened his compassion and strengthened his belief that life is precious.

He is survived by his granddaughters-in-law, Jessica Cline and Heather Foster (Jordon Foster); great-grandchildren: Cameron Lee Foster, Ameah M. Foster, Leviathan Tomlinson, Ariana Moore and Maylee Foster.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Tomlinson; and in-laws, Mary and Earl Rowe.

Military honors will be accorded at 6 p.m. February 20 in the Yorktown Church of Christ at the start of the visitation. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m.

Inurnment will be in the Crooked Creek Christian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
