Dennis Dean Nethercutt, 68, Russiaville, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018.

He was born July 31, 1950, in Logansport, the son of the late Rolla Adolphus and Garnet (Kistler) Nethercutt. On Oct. 17, 1975, he married Vicki Allen and she survives.

Dennis was a member of Church of God International. He retired from Chrysler Corp after 29 years. He enjoyed reading the Bible, watching wildlife and his pets, but he especially cherished the time he spent with his family.

Along with his wife Vicki, he is survived by his daughter, Deana Nicole (Timothy) Byroad, and their children, Justin Byroad, and Dakota Byroad, and one great-grandchild on the way; daughter, Misty Michelle Benedict, and her children, Erika Peltz, and Malachai Leazenby; stepson, Jason McDonald, and his children, Kody McDonald, and Myles McDonald and great-grandson, Kayson McDonald; and siblings, Frederick (Sharon) Nethercutt, Eva Dickerson, Rita Hall, Doris Slusser, Lila (Phillip) Carmichael, Linda (Charles) Landis, and Connie (Greg) Johns.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Thomas Nethercutt, Frank Nethercutt, Danny Nethercutt, Ron Nethercutt, Howard Nethercutt and Patricia Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Stout and Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main St., Russiaville, with Rich Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
