Deitra J. Spencer, 69, Royal Center, passed away at 9:33 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on Dec. 12, 1946, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Huffman) Swisher.

Dee was a Pioneer High School graduate.

On Feb. 13, 1965, she married Terry E. Spencer. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2010.

She was employed at Federal Mogul in Logansport for over 30 years. Dee enjoyed taking care of her flowers, walking her dog and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Candice J. Spencer-Rogers, Carmel and Anthony J. Spencer, Royal Center; sisters, Deb Pittman, Florida, and Diane Zeider, Logansport; grandchildren, Stephanie Miller (Brandon), Alexis Rogers, Ethan Spencer and Jacob Spencer; great-grandson, Kingston Miller; brother- and sister-in-law, Jerry and Susie Spencer, Logansport; and sisters-in-law, Elaine Swisher, Lucerne, and Nancy Spencer, Logansport.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, John and Joseph Swisher; and brother-in-law, Gary Spencer.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
