David M. Criswell, 74, of Idaville, passed away on Sept. 12, 2022, at White Oaks Health Campus in Monticello. David was born on June 14, 1948, in Idaville, to the late Glen and Nettie (Whiteman) Criswell. He was a 1966 graduate of Twin Lakes High School.

David married Carolyn Barnes on Jan. 16, 1966, in Burnettsville, and she survives.

David retired as a truck driver for Carter Block in Logansport.

He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Tina (Kenneth) Miller of Fort Wayne, Jeffery D. (Reann) Criswell of Reynolds and Michael D. (Bethann) Criswell of Idaville; brothers, William Criswell of Idaville, Vernie (Vicki) Criswell of Delphi and Bernie (Sandy) Criswell of Cookeville, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron.

Visitation will take place at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi on Sept. 16, 2022 from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Davidson Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
