Carol Ann Orr Obituary

Carol Ann Orr, 79, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 30, 1943, in Lafayette, to the late Elmer and Goldie (Wilson) Orr.

Carol was a 1962 graduate of Brookston High School and graduated from Elkhart University, becoming a certified medical secretary. She worked in medical records for White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Wabash Valley and Memorial Hospital in Logansport. Carol was a member of the Women of the Moose in Monticello. She loved traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three nieces, Marilyn Thompson of Monticello, Sandra Hampton of Lafayette and Vicki Blair of Arizona; four nephews, Jim Kitterman of Florida, Mike Pozorski of Missouri, Patrick Pozorski of South Dakota and Joe Pozorski of South Dakota.

In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Orr; and two sisters, Dorothea Pozorski and Flora Graves.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services celebrating Carol's life at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Arthritis Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
