Royal Center, Indiana - Carl R. Sell, 87, of Logansport passed away at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on May 4, 1938, in Cass County, he was the son of the late Walter and Ruth (Roller) Sell. He was a 1956 Royal Center High School graduate, where he excelled in track and field.

Carl was a U.S. Army veteran. On Oct. 30, 1966, he married Edith St. Clair, she survives. He was a lifelong farmer and formerly worked at Small Parts and Logan Stamping in maintenance. Carl was a member of Shiloh Christian Church, Cass County 4-H and Cass County Farm Bureau. He was also a record setter in his years of donating blood.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Sell of Logansport, children, Eugene Sell (Pamela) of Royal Center, David Sell (Abby) of Logansport and Lucy Marshall (Mark) of Royal Center; brothers, Glen Sell and Robert Sell; sister, Leona Ray; grandchildren, Amanda Clouse, Caleb Sell, Joseph Sell, Baileigh Buck, Isaac Sell, Maddison Sell, Aaron Marshall and Joanna Adakai; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Lennox, Carter, Oakleigh, Waylon and Eliza; and exchange students, Luiza, Kamille and Mauricio.

He was also preceded in death by brother, Victor Sell; and sister, Rethel Stevens.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at Shiloh Christian Church, 1047 N. County Road 350 West, Logansport with Pastor and son-in-law, Mark Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at the church. Burial with full military rites will be performed at Shiloh Cemetery.
