Peru, Indiana - Barbara Sue Houlihan, 75, of rural Peru, died at 9:10 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born June 1, 1943 in Whitehouse, Kentucky to Raymond and Marie (Murphy) Meeks.

Barbara was a 1962 graduate of Wabash High School. She married James Patrick "Pat" Houlihan in Wabash, Indiana on Dec. 23. 1965. He died Dec. 3, 2013.

She retired from Wabash Magnetics. Barbara was a member of Center Chapel First Brethren Church. She enjoyed flowers, sewing and especially her family.

She is survived by two children, Diana (Tony) Biscella of Logansport, and Patrick "Wayne" Houlihan of Macy; grandson, Shane (Katie) Biscella of Logansport; great-granddaughters, Berkley & Blair Biscella of Logansport; brother, Raymond (Juanda) Meeks of Hull, Texas; and her sister, Darlene (John) Ford of Germantown Hills, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elizabeth Anne Houlihan; and her brother, Ronald Meeks.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Jackie Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
