Forest, Indiana - Barbara 'Barb' Lee McQuinn, 86, Forest, passed away at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. She was born on March 14, 1936, to the late Ralph and Aleta (Hight) Long in Etna Green, Indiana. On Dec. 15, 1993, she married Robert 'Bob' McQuinn in Kokomo, and he survives.

Barb was a 1954 graduate of Mentone High School. She received her Bachelor's degree in 1969, and her Master's degree in 1970, both from Purdue University. In 1997, she retired from Logansport Community Schools after 30 years of service as an audiologist. She worked as a speech clinician serving school corporations in LAJSSC. She also worked in private practice doing hearing testing for factories in Logansport. Barb was a member of West Point Christian Church, the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association, the American Speech and Hearing Association, and the National Education Association. Her hobbies included golfing, gardening, and reading.

In addition to her husband Bob, Barb is survived by her children, John (Linda) Lozier, and Kevin Lozier; step-children, Stephanie (Dyan) McQuinn, and Matthew (Kortney) McQuinn; siblings, Larry (Maryellen) Long, Robert (Judy) Long, and Linda Flenar; sisters-in-law, Sue Metcalf, and Carolyn McQuinn; grandchildren, Alex (Bala) Varadhan, John Lozier, Michelle Lozier, Claire Lozier, Travis (Alyssa) Lozier, Chris (Rachel) Lozier, Hannah McQuinn, Macie McQuinn, Keegan McQuinn, Kennedy McQuinn, Kendall Flickinger, and Kane Flickinger; and seven great-grandchildren.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Luann Wiseman; brothers-in-law, Jack Wiseman, Max Flenar, and William McQuinn.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Pastor Darren Miracle officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the funeral home.
