Anne Louise Harger Obituary

Anne Louise (DeLong) Harger, 88, of Logansport, passed away 2:15 pm Wednesday October 5, 2022, at Castleton Healthcare Center in Indianapolis. She was born in Logansport on February 15, 1934, the daughter of the late Maynard Oswald (Jack) and Hazel Belle (Davidson) DeLong. On July 24, 1954, she married Robert D. Harger in Logansport, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2015.

Anne was a graduate of Logansport High School. She was employed at the Four County Mental Health Facility as the executive secretary. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Moose Lodge. Anne enjoyed spending time and relaxing at Manitou Lake. She enjoyed working outdoors, especially on her garden. Anne absolutely adored her pet cats.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Mary) Harger; grandchildren, Carli (Erik) Payne, Adam (Lindsay) Harger, Matthew Harger, Mason LaPorte; great-grandchildren, Hazel Davis, Callum Davis, Eila Harger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James Robert Harger; sister, Betty Elaine (Kenneth) Smith.
