Alma L. Hubeny, 85, of Kewanna passed away peacefully at 1:35 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on March 8, 1933 in Francesville, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Elizabeth (Irven) Rhinehart.

She was a Rochester High School graduate.

On Feb. 22, 1952 she married Robert E. "Bob" Hubeny. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2018.

Alma was a homemaker and she also worked alongside her husband at their Sunoco Service Station in Kewanna for many years.

She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Kewanna. Alma enjoyed painting, cooking and sewing. She was a member of the Harvestaires in the early '70s.

Survivors include her children, Linda S. (Neal) Martin of Plainfield, Michael L. Hubeny of Denver, Jeffrey S. (Martha) Hubeny of California and Beth A. (Ned) Foster of Colorado; brother, James Rhinehart of Ohio; and grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Boarman, Ryan (Laurie) Martin, Kyle (Susan) Martin, Ross Martin, Shannon (Jonah) Napier, Rebecca Hubeny and Katherine Hubeny. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Madelyn, Sophia, Lillianna, Luke and Benjamin.

She was also preceded in death by son Robert C. Hubeny; brothers, Irven, Morley and Owen Rhinehart and sisters, Olive Kilander, Miriam Blackburn, Eldora Cook, Barbara Sommers, Laura Owen and Donna Weltzin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Kewanna.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory.
