Al W. Buttice, 81, of Camden, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to Joseph and Rose Buttice in Logansport, Indiana, on May 30, 1943. He graduated with the Class of 1962 from Camden High School. Al married Charlotte Sue (Murphy) Buttice on Oct. 3, 1964, in Camden. He worked for Matthew Warren for 38 years, retiring in July of 2010. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of his tractors and spending time with family.

Al is survived by: wife, Charlotte Sue Buttice, son, Rob (Renee) Buttice; daughter-in-law, Dana Buttice; grandchildren: Justin (C.C.) Buttice, Courtney Buttice, Ty (Karli) Buttice, Kassidy Buttice and Tera Mayfield; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Drake, Jackson, Benjamin and Josie Buttice, Savannah Hamblin, Keagan Hamblin, Stormie, Kylee, Mycka and Gregory Brambila; brother, Michael Buttice, Clearwater, sisters: Patty Pinkard and Judy (Paul) Handschu; sister-in-law, Mary Buttice; Goddaughter, Antonella Barker; several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and aunts; and his beloved pets: Angel, Cricket and CoCo.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Buttice; brother, Joe Buttice; and brother-in-law, J.R. Pinkard.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
