Virginia Masters, 85, Logansport, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 in Chase Center, Logansport.
Born July 20, 1932, in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Kenneth D. and Virginia L (Fye) Swartzlander.
On June 19, 1952, in Cass County, she married Harold D. Masters, who preceded her in death June 14, 1985.
Virginia retired from Dr. Penman's office doing billing and coding. She was an avid shopper, loved reading, loved her dogs and cats, family and helped with Civic Players.
Surviving is one daughter, Judith (Jeff) Brew, Logansport; one sister, Carol Morock, Logansport; eight grandchildren, Angela Sanders Logansport; Christina (Terrell) Smith, Logansport; William Bailey, Logansport; Robert Masters, Logansport; Brian (Shannon) Sanders, Logansport; Evan (Ashley) Masters, Russiaville; Blaine (Kristin) Brew, Boston, Massachusetts; 15 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Zoe, Kameryn, Bishop, Terrance, Caleb, Jaydin, Jaylin, Teighlor, Maddison, Lacey, Braxton, Rigley, Gavin, Griffin; four great-great-grandchildren; three nieces, Susan, Michelle and Kelley; one nephew, Michael; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Todd, and one son, Robert D. Masters.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the First Church of the Nazarene, 109 W. Clinton St. in Logansport. Burial will take place in the Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
