Timothy Lee Marocco, Sr., 69, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, July 5, 2019, in his home.
Born December 13, 1949, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Laurel M. and Virginia M. (Schoenradt) Marocco.
Following his 1968 graduation from Logansport High School, Tim enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served as as an aircraft maintenance specialist during the Vietnam War. Following six years and seven months in the USAF, Tim served three years in the Indiana Army National Guard.
In October of 1968, Tim was married to Rosemary (Turner) Marocco, who survives.
Tim was retired from Globe Valve in Delphi.
Tim was baptized at the former Faith Baptist Church in Royal Center. He had been a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790 and the American Legion Post 60.
Tim enjoyed golf, mushroom hunting and watching sports. Being a fan of the Cubs, the Colts, the Bears along with IU and Notre Dame kept him busy. He was also a roller coaster enthusiast. His greatest joy came by spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving with his wife, Rosemary, are five children, Tim Jr. (Tina) Marocco, Monticello, Tammy Marocco (Terry Riemer), Green Bay, WI, Kevin Marocco and Nathan Marocco, both of Logansport, and Kyle (Brittany) Marocco, Warsaw; brother, Laurel A. "Butch" Marocco, Sisters, Cheryl Waites, Las Vegas, NV and Sandra Marocco, Huntington; sister-in-law, Louise Wickersham, Logansport; ten grandchildren: Tanner Marocco (Audriana Clark), Tyler Marocco, Grace Marocco, Landen Marocco, Michael Marocco, Nash Riemer, Matthew Marocco, Mason Marocco, Hayden Marocco and Avery Marocco; and his special canine companion, Sammy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel Marocco.
A Funeral Service celebrating Tim's life will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
Interment, with full military honors, will follow in the Crooked Creek Christian Cemetery, Royal Center. Participating will be the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard, the Cass County Honor Guard and the Indiana Patriot Guard.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service in the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Northeast Regional Autism Center in Wisconsin. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Rose I am so sorry for your loss. Tim was a wonderful man and I will never forget the road trip we made to Decatur to see Jeff Newport before he passed. My love and prayers are with you. You two were the best neighbors.
