Thyra Ann Drummond, 74, Logansport, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on Aug. 13, 1942 in Winamac, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Wooley) Pingel. On Dec. 19, 1963, in Kankakee, Indiana she married Lester H. Trapp who preceded in death Aug. 15, 2000. On Oct. 20, 2001 in Logansport she married Thomas Martin Drummond who preceded in death March 18, 2009.
Ann had worked for Barton's Office Supplies repairing type writers, Star Fleet, delivering campers and delivered newspapers for the Pharos Tribune and USA Today. She attended Skinner Chapel Church where she played the piano for the church, and also visited many nursing homes to share her music with the residents.
Surviving is a daughter, Doris Trapp, Fort Wayne; two sons, Lester Charles (Veronica) Trapp and David L. Trapp, both of Logansport; two stepsons, Derek (Liz) Drummond, Minnesota, and Matthew Drummond, St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Hilary (Levi) Byers, Noblesville, and Cody Trapp, Logansport; and several stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor David Noel officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, also in the funeral home.
