Thomas F. Snay, 77, of Charlotte, Tennessee, formerly of Logansport, died Wednesday at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee.
He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on April 26,1940, the son of the late Joseph W. and Ellen G. Stone Snay. Thomas worked as a psychiatric attendant and security officer at Logansport State Hospital.
He was married to Betty Revard Snay who now lives in Florida and was later married to Norma Zeek who survives in Logansport. He was also married to Rosemary Putnam who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Jane (Sholty) Snay of Charlotte, Tennessee.
Also surviving are children Thomas (Trisha) Snay Jr. of Logansport, Jane Coghill of Logansport and Jennifer Snay of Logansport; stepsons David Gibson and Jim Gibson of Tennessee; and step-daughter Mina Gibson Brock of Tennessee. Two brothers, Gilbert (Dorothy) Snay and Jim Snay of Logansport, as well as three sisters, Ellen Zeider and Judy Hizer both of Logansport and Ruth Jackson of Michigan; and 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Rowe; a great-great grandson, Aiden Snay; 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6 at Ever Rest Memorial Park Chapel where friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow.
The family requests memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation.
