Ronald's Story

Ronald "Ron" E. Warner, 77, passed away peacefully at Wellington Reflections Memory Care Facility in Kokomo at 12:20 p.m. Feb. 23, 2018. He was born on July 30, 1940, in Logansport, to Robert and Violet (Summers) Warner.
He attended and graduated from Logansport High School in 1958. Ron worked at RBM in Logansport before hiring into the Modelshop at Delco Electronics and Delphi, retiring in 2006.
Ron was a member of and baptized at Macedonia Christian Church. He belonged to Napthali Masonic Lodge, Center, Indiana and Center Chapter #108 Order of the Eastern Star. He was past Patron of Center OES three times.
He enjoyed his cars, customizing many, going antiquing with Jan and going out to eat.
Ron was married to Charlene (Dewitt) and they were later divorced. He married Jan (Adams) Hoover on July 2, 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Warner; children, Kandi (Brian) Kruse, Ft. Wayne, and Missy Warner, Logansport; step-children, Liz (Steve) Guntle, Selma, Indiana, Brenda (Bill Lidy) Creason, Bethann (Gary) Clover, all of Kokomo, Jeff Hoover, Bunker Hill, and Gary (Melissa) Hoover, Junsonia, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jordan Van Horn and Jayme Warner of Logansport; 12 step-grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
He was a very loving father and grandfather.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Miller, Palm Coast, Florida; and a step-granddaughter, Jenise Gang, Kokomo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Macedonia Christian Church 1532 S. 500 East, Kokomo. Internment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery, at the corner of North Street and Ohio Street. Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at the church. An Eastern Star Service will be at 7:30 p.m. followed by a Masonic Service. Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's memory to the Alzheimers's Association, RON'S TEAM.
