Ronald's Story

Ronald "Ron" L. Wagoner, 71, Camden, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born Nov. 21, 1945, in Logansport, the son of the late Raymond Wagoner and Betty (McGuire) Kingery.
Ron was a 1963 graduate of Camden High School and served six years in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He retired from Chrysler of Kokomo as a machine operator. Ron loved farming with his son James and continued to do until his death. He loved fishing and spending time with family.
Surviving relatives include sons Douglas Wagoner of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and James Wagoner of Burlington; daughter Samantha (Jose) Arriaga of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; Cindy Wagoner, mother of James and Samantha; and Carla Gingerich, mother of Douglas.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, James Wagoner.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Landon officiating the service. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Deer Creek.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the funeral home.
