Richard "Dick"'s Story
Richard "Dick" Wagner, 67, Plainfield, passed away Friday, Sept, 8, 2017.
He was born Jan. 23, 1950, in Logansport, to the late Frank and Florence (Sipple) Wagner.
Dick was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran. He was a senior designer for Allison Transmission for 30 years before retiring in 2003. Dick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield. He enjoyed his family, fishing, travel, history and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (West) Wagner; son, Brian Wagner; daughter, Christine (K.J.) Vandermark; sister, Karen (Ron) Guckien; grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Vandermark; and several nieces and nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his sister, Judi Moore.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery, Lizton.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the funeral home.
