Philip D. Riggle, 67, Albany, Kentucky and longtime Fulton area resident, passed away at 6:51 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at his residence in Albany, Kentucky.
He was born Aug. 28, 1949, in Rochester, the son of Charles B. and Donna (Thomas) Riggle Jr. On Sept. 11, 1976, in Marshtown, Indiana, he married Bonita L. Moore and she survives.
Phil had worked for the CSX Railroad and retired from the Dana Corp. as a machinist. In his younger years, he had attended the Fulton Baptist Temple. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, arrowhead hunting and cooking.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita L. Riggle, Albany, Kentucky; sons, Chad and wife Flavia Riggle, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, and Eric and wife Rebecca Riggle, Byrdstown, Tennessee; granddaughter, Ana Beatrice Riggle, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Riggle; sister, Connie Jean Mancini; and stepgrandson, Jedediah Criswell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Aaron McCombs officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Grass Creek Cemetery, Grass Creek.
