The years that Pat was part of our Choral Club, she spent sitting next to me on the end of the back row. Pat and I could barely refrain from a bit of dancing as we sang - feeding each other's spirits with the joy we felt in the rhythms. She liked the low notes - but what she proudly told me about so often were her twin great- grandchildren that she babysat for. This, too, caused her face to shine with joy.
