Nancy Ann Frey, 75, Walton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 13, 1942, in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late John and Maxine (Williams) McCord.
On Oct. 16, 1961, in Logansport she married Jeff E. Frey, who preceded her in death April 24, 2007.
Nancy was a homemaker and farmer's wife who assisted in the everyday farm operation for many years. She also drove a bus for Cass County Area Transit. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Tipton Township High School. She was a life member of Anoka United Methodist Church and a member of the Walton American Legion Post 418 Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy enjoyed playing cards, mushroom hunting and gambling. Nancy was a compassionate person and helped many families in need.
Surviving are two sons, Kelly (Carla) Frey, Logansport, and Shane (Darla) Frey, Walton; granddaughter, Whitney Frey and fiancé Mike Doty, Logansport; three grandsons, Beau (Ronette) Frey, Zachary (Amanda) Frey and Ethan (Brianna) Frey, all of Peru; six great-grandchildren, Heidi, Kendall, Zoey, Avalyn, Drew and Payton; and lifelong friends, Grant and Cinda Harris, Fort Wayne.
One brother, Johnny McCord, preceded her in death.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Anoka United Methodist Church. A private burial will be in the Deer Creek Onward cemetery.
A time of gathering will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Anoka United Methodist Church.
