Margaret  Blohm


Margaret Alice (Helvie) Blohm died Aug. 1, 2019 at home. She was born on Aug. 8, 1927 to the late Eugene and Maude Helvie.
Her marriage was to Leland W. Blohm on June 15, 1947 who preceded her in death along with their son Kenneth Blohm.
Margaret attended church at First Assembly of God, Delphi and worked at JC Penney.
She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband. She loved to read, write letters and send cards with cute little stickers. She enjoyed playing cards with her sister and spending time with family and friends at our many gatherings.
Surviving is her sister Shirley (Gen) Freels; grandchildren Cheryl (Gerald) Rood and Richard (Marcela) Johnson; nephews Leland Blohm and Steve Freels; and nieces Donna (Ed) Fincher and Gloria (Chuck) Maxwell.
She loved all her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Close to her heart were Jim, Chris, Whitney and Tyler Arion; Della Frazier Barrett; Bob and Debbie Randolph; and her care taker, Fonda Spangler, with Dave Wood.
A private service to be held. Please give to a Veterans' charity of choice in the memory of the love and lives of Margaret and Leland Blohm.

I called you Mom and you called me Daughter,
you was the best mother in the world, even though you were not my biological mother. You made me who I am. Thank you for being my Mom. I love you to the moon and back now and forever 💔🥰

We love our grandma very much and will miss her . She meant the world to us and my heart is broken I did not get to see her before she passed.
