John Phillip Scagnoli, 73, Logansport, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, in Miller's Merry Manor.
Born Dec. 15, 1943, in Logansport, he was the son of Pacifico and Elizabeth "Betty" Carbone Scagnoli.
John was a 1961 graduate of Peru High School. Later, he was an avid Logansport High School Berries fan and a true Berry Booster. In over 20 years he did not miss one LHS home basketball game. He received the LHS "Spirit Stick" in 1991.
John had been employed at Peak Community Services.
Surviving are his brothers, Gary (Maryann) Scagnoli and Phil Scagnoli, both of Logansport; Nick (Julie) Scagnoli, Clarkston, Michigan; a sister, Marybeth (Rick) Siddall, Logansport; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Dominic Petan officiating. Entombment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday in the Parish Hall at All Saints Catholic Church.
